Childhood-Aaj Kal...

Its all about dreams and fantasies then,
Dreams that had perfection and imagination,
Fantasies that had wildest and ridiculous endings,
But it still was great fun, a world of your own.


Be it hoping to be Spider-man or being a prince,
Or being invited to the School of Magic as a child prodigy,
Could be starting your own Secret Club to solve crime,
Or discovering you have some kind of Super power.

It might sound Crazy for a person with no imagination,
But if you have dreamed crazy and hoped it to happen,
To me that is the sign that you had the normal Childhood,
For others, there is still time for you to ‘do a Shrikanth’.
Ha ha..

 You had all the time in your life to have fun and play,
With your friends all d Games that you managed to understand,
Playing on the streets, on the ground and even at home,
Celebrating life, like you have lived the whole of your life.


But Children nowadays are smitten with technology and life,
Either study all the time or be a PS or Computer Gamer,
Life is no more a Circle for their Generation, As you know,
3-D Movies and Games have made life a Sphere for them.


Kids,when asked for their ambition nowadays,answers with the professions,
Which I barely knew to pronounce when I was a child, but some even now.
Is it De-evolution of Mankind or Crazy growth of Technology and Science?
Almost all the kids we see nowadays are bare reflection of Robocop.

But its still not over, you can now be a responsible Kid,
Still live among your new Dreams and Fantasies,
So even if you are going real in the perfect way,
Do that with a pinch of imagination and craziness..
